Phuket has many banks and money changers spread through most of the tourist areas, population centres and shopping centres such as Central Festival, Tesco Lotus and Big C. Many banks have 24-hour ATM services. Major banks include Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Siam Commercial Bank and Thai Military Bank. Banking hours are Monday – Friday 09:30 to 15:30, closed weekends and public holidays. All the major banks provide international banking services and accept most major credit cards. There are restrictions on moving foreign currency out of the country - consult a bank or yacht agent for details.
