NEW SHIPPING SERVICE FOR SOUTHEAST ASIA

UK shipping experts Complete Freight, who specialise in the coordination and transportation of all sizes of yacht and motorboat by air, sea and road, have combined forces with local marine consultancy Yacht Solutions to provide a first class scheduled and frequent shipping service.

With the Asian marine industry, especially the areas around Phuket and Langkawi, growing rapidly, offering a regular and efficient shipping service for yachts is expected to bring a greater volume of yachts not to mention larger and more predominant vessels to the area.

There is no limit to the size of yacht that can be catered for. This scheme is capable of shipping yachts from 5m to 55m in length and from 1 - 540 Tons. The port of loading will be at the discretion of the carrier, but more than likely Singapore or the Malaysian ports of Port Klang or Langkawi.

The current sailing schedules include: Langkawi - Toulon in the second half of July 2005, and Genoa - Singapore/Langkawi in early September 2005.

Yachts can be fully covered to protect them from the elements and specialised certified shipping cradles for any motor boat or sailing yacht suitable for ocean transport can be made/sourced.

All the additional extras that include customs clearance, agents' fees, insurance, shrink wrapping, voyage preparation, road transport, storage, organising crane hire and many other hidden costs are taken care of by Yacht Solutions. For further details: Tel: + 66 (0) 7623 9114, e: gareth@yachtsolutions.net.
